Since my 13 years old son has worked with Danielle, he has been able to reach inside himself and use the creativity that God gave him. He had problems staying focused and would shut down when things got tuff. Now he has learned ways to manage his energy and focus his thoughts. He has more confidence, self-esteem, and can control his anger over the small stuff. These are things that don’t get the least bit of attention in public school. Terri R. , mother of 13 year old son

My son and I learned a lot about our relationship at the Drop Your Reins Experience. Thanks to Marianne and Danielle, we are on our way to healing. Since just one session, he has started treating me with more respect. He has also starting to show signs of being able to control his meltdowns.

Our favorite part of the Drop Your Reins Experience was when we got to sit facing each other on the horse and feel a connection with each other that had been missing for a while. Kylar also said that standing on a horse was ‘awesome’ and made him feel special.

I, as the parent, did not think I would be stretched at the DYR experience. Little did I know I was the one to be stretched the most. For me to get close to a horse or have the confidence to sit on one was a huge thing for me. Something as simple as sitting on a horse and riding him around for a bit, has given me the confidence to know I CAN parent my children. I do have authority and now find myself speaking to them as such.

I look forward to sharing our experience with others: parents, friends, and those involved with my children’s school. There are so many ways to reach a child that is struggling with ADD or ADHD or low self esteem. Kylar is already begging to go back to Cheers Ranch for more DYR with Danielle and Marianne and Debi. He feels confident and at ease there. Thank you for doing so much for my child.

God Bless,
Lynna Kay M. Parker
(mom to Kylar and Logan)

Wyatt – The Special Bird Man

An article appear in a magazine about Danielle and her work with children. A curious grandmother read and wanted to know more so
she made phone call. She was curious and wanted to know more because she has a very special Grandson who she cares deeply about
and wants the best for him. After her initial conversation of introduction she drove to wet her curiousity a little more by
actually meeting Danielle in person. She then had to share the information with her daughter about Danielle and her work with
ADD and Autistic children.

Her daughter was planning to come visit and bring her son. Wyatt age 6, for a visit and presceduled a session with Danielle and Marianne.
She visited the website and found the videos and she shared that one even brought tears to her eyes as she watched.

Wyatt is a very polite and generally apprears confident. When it was time for his work with Danielle, Grandma, Mom and Wyatt all came and Wyatt
confidently introduced himself and shook our hands. He shared some things about himself and that he had riden a horse before and taken
a few therapeutic riding lessons in the recent past. His mother confirmed.

We gathered in our intitial conversation that Wyatt was having trouble with anxiety. He would have breakouts with exima obsess on a fear to the point
of it being debilitating. His mother shared they had sought medical attention for this and also had him involved in the
therapeutic riding program where they lived.

As we prepared for the session we continued to gather information because in each moment is something valuable to be learned and gained.
Wyatt spoke up as a bird flew by in the sky and said,”Did you see the Iris fly overhead?” One thing we knew from our own experience is most 6
year old boys do not know what an Iris bird is nor do they care, so that was valuable information he just shared with us. Being aware of all
the subtle communication offered is vitial to our work with children and parents. Focusing on their lanuguage is an important key.

Wyatt walked with Danielle and the horse chosen to help assist in the session, a special mare named Honey. She is owned by Debbie of Cheers
Horse Ranch and when Honey was younger she had a puncture to one of her eyes and she is partially blind. She has a kind heart and she loves children.
Honey was the perfect horse for Wyatt’s session. Danielle began showing Wyatt how to brush Honey and begin to make the connection with Honey.
It is important to note that ground work and connection is as important as actually riding with a horse.

Honey was saddle and Wyatt had his safety helmet on and away we all went to the arena for some more of the session. Once inside another bird flew over head
and it caught Wyatt’s attention once again. He shared his love of birds with Danielle. His mother also shared his nickname is “The Bird Man”.
Wyatt knows more about birds than most adults and remembering he is only 6 years old.

As the session continued Danielle and her mother, Marianne, began to move around the arena with Wyatt and Honey. Danielle began to have Wyatt do some stretching exercises
to wake up his body and also assess his fears and his level of needing to control his environment. They walked and talked. Wyatt was sharing about his love of birds and all the
different species in Africa.

Wyatt said he would not ever go to Africa because of a bee there. He was asked to share more with us and he said there was a bee in Africa, not just any bee but a bee that when it
you it was deadly. There was not just one bee but the bees came in swarms. One bee would bite and then there would be many. Marianne and Danielle were able to assess that
the bees represented his thoughts. He would have a thought and it would grow into a swarm of thoughts that would debilitate him and he would obsess on them.

Wyatt was asked while sitting on Honey to raise his energy. he was asked ot think of a bird that was fun, fast and excited him and he shared that that bird was a hummingbird.
As Wyatt began to think of a hummingbird his energy raised in his body and Honey walked forward in responce Wyatt’s energy change. Honey was mirroring Wyatt. It was
an immediate change and his mother was amazed.

As Wyatt was asked to lower his energy and think of something calm, he shared it was a butterfly. He could get really still and if we listened we
could hear the flutter of a butterfly’s wings. The butterfly was peaceful and magestic. Wyatt thought of a butterfly his energy lowered and Honey stopped automatically.
She was feeding and reading his change in energy.

There was a scary moment when Wyatt felt a little unbalanced, he was asked to share something he was scared of at home or in his life. He spoke about
fire in his home but then quickly reverted to the sound of a bird screeching in the dark of the woods at night. His fear had a sound of a bird. The
bird was an owl and it made a very scary sound.

As the EXPEREINCE continued, Danielle and Marianne were speaking Wyatt’s language of birds and living his exciting experiences of Birds. They asked Wyatt to share his
favorite bird of Africa which he quickly described the SUN BIRD. He shared how beautiful the colors were and his whole being was as vibrant and the bird he was describing.
He told of it’s strength and valore. The SUN bird was strong, brave and proud. As he spoke he became the qualities he admired in the Sun bird.

Danielle quickly assessed it was time to anchor the words that Wyatt had shared into the EXPEREINCE so he and his mother could continue to use them at home when he faced a fear,
or fearful thoughts. She asked Wyatt if he would like to stand up on Honey. He was willing and as he moved into his fear of the unknown he began to hear the owl’s sreeching.
Marianne asked him to think of the butterfly’s wings and he was able to calm and quiet himself down. Then Marianne reminded him that is alright to ask for help and that Danielle would and Marianne
would be there to assist him. He was reminded that when a Sunbird wants to fly he has to let go of his fears and flap his wings. As he does he then can begin to fly.

Wyatt released his fears ( the OWL ) went away and Wyatt ( the SUNBIRD ) stood up on the back of Honey and Was confident and calm. He flapped his new wings and rose to new heights as
he began to SOAR. Wyatt is such an amazing young wise 6 year old boy. Danielle and Marianne were able to speak his language with the help of Honey. He and his mother now
have anchored words that Wyatt gave us to remind him how to lower and raise his energy on demand, over come his fears, and change his thoughts to the empowering ones of his
mascot, the brave SUNBIRD.

Wyatt and his mother has trigger words that will empower him through his times of OCD and Anxiety now.

*Sound quality is poor. Sections of the video you will need to turn up to hear young Wyatt’s voice.

This was most definitely one of the greatest experiences I have had with my little Daaci Carolina so far. Daaci has a Chromosome Deletion and with that suffers from Sensory Integration Dysfunction and ADHD among other things, when you are missing part of a chromosome, things just do not seem to work together quite as easily as if you had all 46 of them. We have come so far with Daaci and conquered things that Doctors said she would never do. Now we have reached the point in her life when medication is mentioned and her Dad and I are not ready for that.

I found Danielle on the Cheers Website and I know now it was the best thing I could’ve done for Daaci. I cried when I watched the youtube of
Danielle working with the children. What a special young lady, she has a gift. How amazing to learn from this young lady how Daaci is feeling sometimes. Then to take her out and sit little tiny Daaci on this huge animal and teach her to build her confidence by letting go and putting her arms in the air, this just clicked with Daaci. I was able to have her focus on that for the rest of the weekend. Thankyou for letting us experience this with out daughter. Gina,Oby and Daaci Lampp
